The Story

The Chesapeake Fire Station Number 3 is located a short distance from the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by lakes and tributaries. The temperatures can range from a low of 32 degrees to highs of over a 100 degrees with high humidity and salt spray. One of the first things I was asked was would bronze hold up under those condition. The answer was yes, as there are bronze statues that are over 7,000 years old. They used my statue entitled Last Alarm Life Size for a memorial to show tribute to their fallen firefighters.
