Sculptor and 32 year retired firefighter touches hearts with his work

  • ...I am left with a sense of ease when I walk away from art like this.

    J. Oldham Private Investigator and Process Server
  • It is fitting and proper that works such as Paul's tear at our heartstrings, for there is no greater love than the fire service.

    B. Halton Editor in Chief at Fire Engineering Magazine
  • The statue is perfect and the biggest naysayer we had when we started this project cannot stop telling everyone about how great it is. It is exactly what we wanted and actually brought tears to one of our departed firefighters wife when she saw it.

Jay Schmaltz Strasburg Fire Department, Strasburg, ND
  • When looking at his human sized firefighters it is recognized immediately how important our firefighters are, how dedicated, and how much they risk in the course of their duty. Paul is a well trained artist and renders figures with a maximum level of believability.

Dennis Smith Author, Publisher, and Founder of Firehouse Magazine
  • Our numerous works by Paul are a testament to his artistic ability and attention to detail. Work is second to none.

    E. Neid Deputy Chief, Tucson Fire Department
  • Paul's artwork captures the real life experiences of firefighting.

    P.M. Enhelder Safety Officer

Who are the commemorative bronze sculptures for?

The sculptures produced are for recognition of both fallen and living police officers, law enforcement officers, military (Army, Air Force, Navy), fire fighters, forest service (“hot shots”) or wildland firefighters, aircraft rescue and firefighting, government or military fire fighters, and emergency medical personnel (paramedic, EMT, and rescue).
